Snowflake Obsidian:

Obsidian was used in antiquity because of its sharp edges and high vitreous luster. It is a protective stone, providing a shield against negativity. It is also considered the "stone of purity" because it is supposed to bring purity and balance to mind and body. Each type of obsidian offers different properties. For instance mahogany obsedian provides for the fulfillment on one’s aspirations. Obsidian is mined in Utah. Like jasper it is found in the veins of the mines which causes a good melange of colors. It has descriptive names like snowflake or flower obsidian.
